About the charity
Friends of Crampton exists to celebrate and strengthen Crampton Primary School by raising money and creating fun opportunities for children, parents, carers and the wider community. At the heart of our mission is a belief that every child deserves a rich, broad education — and that a connected community is the foundation for that to happen.
We work to raise the level of education and empower local families through learning, enrichment and access to opportunity. By reducing barriers, widening participation and backing the school's priorities, we help ensure that where a child grows up never limits what they can achieve.
What we do
Our role is broad enough to strengthen the whole school community, while staying clear, approachable and useful.
We help raise funds that can support school experiences, enrichment, resources and projects that make a visible difference for pupils.
We organise enjoyable community events that build connection, celebrate school life and create positive fundraising moments.
We support access to a wide range of after-school clubs — sports, creative, nature and themed activities — helping connect school staff, families and external providers so every child can take part, regardless of circumstance.
Events
Friends of Crampton has supported school fundraising through events such as fairs and sponsored activities, and the site can easily be updated with your next events.
Family favourite
Stalls, games, performances and community fundraising in a bright, inclusive school setting.
Seasonal fundraiser
Festive activities, treats and school-community fundraising that brings children and adults together.
Participation event
A simple school-linked fundraiser that encourages participation, celebrates learning and supports children directly.
After-school clubs
We support a wide range of after-school clubs that stretch beyond the school day — giving children access to sports, creative arts, nature and themed activities they might not otherwise encounter. For many families, these clubs are transformative: building skills, raising confidence and broadening horizons in a safe, supported environment.
We also understand the realities facing many families. After-school clubs provide a trusted, structured option for working parents and single parents who need reliable care and enrichment beyond the school bell.
Club categories we support
Tennis, football and cricket sessions that develop physical skills, teamwork and a love of healthy activity — for all abilities.
Art and making clubs where children explore creativity, self-expression and cultural identity in a hands-on, provider-led setting.
Outdoor and nature-themed activities that connect children to the natural world and inspire curiosity about the environment.
Chess and Lego clubs that sharpen strategic thinking, problem-solving and concentration through fun, structured play.
Donate
Your donations are invested directly and thoughtfully into the things that matter most — equipment and resources that support the day-to-day curriculum, and the tools needed to run after-school clubs well. We are genuinely grateful for every contribution and treat every penny with care.
We are actively looking for local businesses and organisations in Southwark, London Bridge and Westminster who share our belief that every child deserves the best possible start.
Sponsorship can take many forms — a regular monetary contribution, prizes and vouchers for our fundraising events, or equipment donations for clubs and activities. Every form of support helps us set up more extracurricular activities and events that benefit the children directly.
We show a short donation message first so supporters can choose the option that may help more of their gift reach the charity.
